About Meryl
Longtime journalist and novelist
For more than 25 years, I have written engaging, informative, and entertaining articles, often on quick deadlines, for numerous national consumer publications and websites, especially on the topics of health, integrative health, science, climate change/environment, and psychedelic medicine.
My journalism has been published in the New York Times, Washington Post, National Geographic, Prevention, Good Housekeeping, AARP, Reader's Digest, Oprah magazine, and many other publications.
These articles have won numerous awards, including first place in the American Society of Journalists & Authors Article Awards and a finalist for a National Magazine Award.
I'm also an award-winning women's fiction author. My latest novel is Yoga Bind. All my mindfulness/yoga novels are fun beach reads that address how we keep our inner peace no matter what's going on in our lives.
My prior novels are Downward Dog, Upward Fog, and Warrior Won, winner of a prestigious Independent Publisher (IPPY) Award. All involve the same group of characters but can be read on their own.
I am fortunate to live in beautiful South Florida, where I get to wake up mornings to this view.
