About Meryl Davids Landau
Thanks for your interest in my work. My latest book is Enlightened Parenting: A Mom Reflects on Living Spiritually With Kids. My prior book, the spiritual women's novel Downward Dog, Upward Fog, was a finalist in fiction in the small-press book-of-the-year competition by Foreword Reviews magazine.
For more than twenty years, I have written engaging, informative, and entertaining articles, often on quick deadlines, for numerous national consumer publications, websites, and companies, especially on the topics of health, holistic health, parenting, family issues, general-interest issues, and business. I am also a former magazine editor. My work has won numerous awards, including a nomination for a prestigious National Magazine Award and a first-place outstanding-article award from the American Society of Journalists & Authors.
My articles have appeared in Glamour, O: the Oprah magazine, Self, Parents, Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping, Whole Living, More, Prevention, U.S. News & World Report, and many other publications in print and online. I blog about holistic topics and parenting for the Huffington Post, Care2, and other sites.
I am a member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), the Association for Health Care Journalists (AHCJ) and the National League of American Pen Women. I was one of a handful of national writers selected to spend a week at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an AHCJ-CDC Fellow.
